As well as our off-site shredding service, we offer mobile on-site shredding for organisations that like the peace of mind that comes with seeing their confidential information destroyed in person.
On-site shredding gives you the same safe service as our off-site services, all at your location. Firstly we will provide you with lockable containers or security sacks in which you will store your confidential waste. A member of our vetted team will come to your location on a date that suits you. They will empty your containers and deliver the contents straight to our mobile shredding vehicle waiting on site. All documents are shredded while the vehicle is on-site and can be witnessed by representatives from your organisation. A certificate of destruction is issued immediately as proof that your confidential documents have been securely destroyed. Your shredded paper is then taken back to our depot for recycling.
Organisations produce many types of documents that contain personal and/or confidential information. According to the Information Commissioner’s Office: “The security measures that are appropriate for an organisation will depend on its circumstances, so you should adopt a risk based approach to deciding what level of security you need.” Businesses should ensure that they are adhering to the General Data Protection Act and compliantly destroying anything that could be detrimental to the organisation if it were to fall into the wrong hands. Confidential information that should be securely shredded could include;
Some of our customers choose to shred all of their paper waste. This means that they can be sure that all of their paper records are being securely disposed of and also being recycled. This removes the requirement for another bin and collection.
We provide our customers with locked 120 litre security consoles or 240 litre containers to safely store confidential information before it is shredded. Each console/container will have shaped apertures and an anti-tamper shelf, so that only the relevant materials can be received.
Along with our consoles, you will be provided with B&M liner bags. These will be kept inside the secure consoles and our operatives will put them in our gated vehicle to keep your information confidential while information is destroyed on-site.
Short of space? We can also provide shredding sacks which you can fill and secure in a locked cupboard until we collect it.
What happens if our console is full before our documents are due to be shredded?
Please contact us as soon as you think that your secure console is becoming full. If confidential documents are being stored outside of the secure consoles, they are no longer secure. We are more than happy to arrange extra collections if necessary and if this happens on a regular basis, would review the frequency of your service.
*this offer applies to new shredding customers only.
With all that is going on in the world at the moment, waste management continues to be an essential utility and we are doing all that we can to continue to operate as normal.
We can remotely organise audits, paperwork and health and safety documentation without the need for physical contact so that a safe and compliant service can commence imminently.
