How is energy produced from my food waste?
Food waste is treated using a process called Anaerobic Digestion (AD) which speeds up the natural breakdown of food inside a large sealed tank. This process emits a methane-rich gas which is captured and used to generate electricity.
What if my businesses produces lots of food waste?
If you produce large quantities of food waste, we can also offer equipment to reduce the volume.
Do you offer freezer breakdown clearances? Yes, if your organisation experiences a mechanical failure and requires a fast ad-hoc collection of waste from your freezer, get in touch. We’ll provide a bespoke quote and all food will be used to generate electricity via Anaerobic Digestion.
