Here at B&M our corporate social responsibility values stem from 60 years in the business, and remaining a family run establishment. We care about our customers, employees and the social and physical environment in which we operate.
Our nominated Charities are Claire House Children Hospice and Shelter – the housing and homeless charity. Also, we are Founding Patrons of The Hive Youth Zone in Birkenhead. Throughout the year we are dedicating ourselves to helping these charities achieve their goals through our support and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We raised over £20,000 for charities last year, a target we hope to smash again this year.
As a Carbon Neutral organisation, we have a full programme of activities taking place to maintain and constantly improve upon our own impact on the environment as a business, and always strive to help our customers to do the same. We have been Carbon Neutral since 2011 and help to pass on carbon savings to our customers through more efficient services and increased recycling, where possible.
Quality of service is key, and getting things right is another key to our success. We are constantly striving to be the best and our ISO quality standards are testament to this. Our quality customer service standards are also important to us and we have dedicated account management teams to ensure that you are able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
We offer a number of apprenticeships internally and are always working to ensure we encourage our business to positively impact the lives of the communities in which we work, in a positive way.
B&M are proud shirt Sponsors of Tranmere Rovers FC and have also set up the ‘B&M Green Rover‘ programme with Tranmere encouraging local businesses and schools to consider recycling, and introducing fun and cost-efficient ways to do this.
B&M are proud to support Shaw Villa FC and Swinton Spartans FC this season. Only recently brought together, the team allows kids to play football together in their hometown where they previously had to travel longer distances to the nearest club. They have already been named as an official Nike Partner Club – which involves open days with professional coaches – and have won four out of their five games so far this season.
