Lily Mae Foundation

The Lily Mae Foundation supports Parents and Families who have tragically and traumatically lost a baby to Stillbirth or to Neonatal Death.

Lily Mae logo

Despite its frequency, there is very little public perception of the devastating impact of Stillbirth and Neonatal Death on Parents and their Families.

As a family run company, supporting charities which support families during this awful time in their lives is crucial, and this is why we chose to work with the Lily Mae Foundation, to ensure they can continue to support as many families as possible.

Lily Mae TruckFollowing a donation to the charity in January 2018 B&M Waste further pledged support for the charity through ensuring their messaging is prominent across the Birmingham region though branding our fleet of vehicles with the Lily Mae livery to ensure as many people as possible in the area are aware of the charity.

We will also be supporting the charity during their annual golf day fundraiser, which sees over 200 people come together for a day of sporting competition followed by a glittering gala dinner.

How is our supporting helping the charity?

  • New counselling group within Birmingham Children’s Hospital – This is currently ongoing and working really well. the group takes place on the third Tuesday of the month between 730-900pm and is a safe place for bereaved parents to meet others who have suffered the death of a baby.
  • Baby loss counselling service –  The service has received some excellent feedback from the bereaved parents who have been part of the trial.

How can you help?
