In November 2013, B&M Waste Services commenced waste management services at Donisthorpe Hall, introducing 4 waste containers for mixed recycling and a further 6 for residual materials. In addition to this, B&M provided training materials for staff and residents to ensure recycling segregation was effective.
B&M Waste are able to send any residual waste to generate energy at our Refuse Derived Fuel processing facility where previously, it would have been sent to landfill.
With 182 bedrooms and over 230 staff, Donisthorpe Hall produce large quantities of recyclable material and general waste.
Paul Johnston, Operations Manager at Donisthorpe Hall, says: “I would like to thank the team at B&M Waste Services for a very cost effective and efficient waste collection services.
“I have been working with B&M Waste Services for three years and the service to date has been exemplary.”
Terry Milner, Sales Director at B&M Waste Services, commented: “Our expertise in the healthcare sector lends to working in the care sector and Donisthorpe Hall have been highly receptive to the introduction of segregating and recycling their waste.
“It is a partnership we are immensely proud of and look to introduce new technologies to further improve on this fantastic level of recycling in the future.”
With all that is going on in the world at the moment, waste management continues to be an essential utility and we are doing all that we can to continue to operate as normal.
We can remotely organise audits, paperwork and health and safety documentation without the need for physical contact so that a safe and compliant service can commence imminently.
