*Calculate Your ShreddingB&M Waste Services have won the Sustainability Award at the Wirral Business Awards 2014.
With this new accolade taking B&M up to four award wins, and making it onto the shortlist for an additional four, it’s been a year of success in 2014.
The award was presented in a glittering ceremony at Thornton Manor, Wirral, on Friday 26th September 2014, hosted by Wirral Chamber of Commerce.
9 B&M staff attended the awards presentation and despite a few nerves beforehand, B&M Waste Services was read out as the winner of the Sustainability Award!
As a family-owned business, being recognised in the local community for our commitment to remaining carbon neutral and sustainable is a fantastic achievement.
Paul Curtis, Director of B&M Waste Services, said: “In our 60th year, we are incredibly proud to have been awarded with so many prestigious accolades. Despite operating nationally, we are a local business based in Brombrough so we are particularly proud to have won the Sustainability category at the Wirral Business Awards.”
From opening a Refuse Derived Fuel facility in June 2014 for converting waste to energy to investing in clean energy projects overseas, B&M are consistently achieving high recycling results for its customers.
A huge thank you to Wirral Chamber and the Wirral Business Awards for this honour: the team here at B&M are all incredibly proud of this accolade.
