In a glittering awards ceremony at Manchester Cathedral, the B&M Waste Services team – Terry Milner, Wendy Mitchell, Patrick Cox, Ann McMurrie and Jayne Kennedy – commenced the evening mingling with other finalists at a champagne reception held at the venue.
B&M were been shortlisted as Best Employer of the Year 2015 where other finalists in the category included:
After enjoying a lovely meal, the hashtag #COLBA15 took off as finalists began to congratulate each other when winners were announced.
Amongst the other winners were B&M customers, Bruntwood and Capital Properties.
B&M’s Sales Director, Mr Terry Milner also presented an award to the Best Business Bank of the Year, Natwest.
When B&M Waste Services was pronounced winner as Best Employer of the Year, the team were thrilled.
Ken Curtis, Chairman of B&M Waste Services said of winning the award “In some ways this makes me more proud than any of the other accolades we have achieved as, being a family business, we treat our employees as individuals and work as one big team to achieve our business goals.
“This award gives testament to our wonderful team and I thank all employees of B&M Waste Services for their hard work.”
After winning five awards in 2014, Bagnall & Morris’ 60th year, for our recycling and sustainability credentials, it’s looking like 2015 may even top that!
