*Calculate Your ShreddingAintree University Hospital have this month re-appointed B&M Waste Services to continue with the total waste management service for the hospital, which serves a population of 333,000 across North Liverpool, Sefton and Kirby.
Following a rigorous assessment process, the four year contract to continuously improve the recycling initiatives at the hospital concluded with B&M Waste being re-appointed to work in partnership with the hospital to improve the recycling and waste management efficiencies throughout the hospital.
Mike Morgan, Facilities Manager at Aintree Hospital said “We are looking forward to working with B&M to further adopt the latest technologies and best practices to ensure both environmental and financial efficiency of waste management across the hospital.”

Michael Hill, Corporate Contracts Manager at B&M Waste commented “We will be running a series of training sessions across both medical and non-medical staff, to further staff buy-in and understanding of on-site segregation systems we have put in place. We have ID badge sized ‘keep me handy’ cards for staff to keep on them as a reminder of which waste goes in which container, which have been a success in the past in re-enforcing the training.
“We have a great relationship with the hospital and are thrilled to have renewed the contract. Moving forwards we look forward to improving recycling and waste management efficiencies even more as part of our continuous improvement commitment.”
