*Calculate Your ShreddingLong-standing sponsors, B&M Waste Services, have once again supported Claire House through the sponsorship of the Claire House Cup.
Now entering its eighth year, the football tournament is expected to welcome over 3,000 people over the weekend and will be a fantastic family fun day. The event is taking place on 15th and 16th of June at Wirral Rugby Club and will see a range of local children’s football clubs compete for the trophy.
The cup is hosted in memory of Elliot Wild, who passed away in 2011 at the age of nine, following a battle with leukaemia. Elliot’s mum, Jackie, set up the cup to raise money for Claire House, who cared for Elliot during the last weeks of his life.
Jackie commented: ‘We are truly humbled by the wonderful support B&M give our fantastic football tournament in being the sponsor once again. Their sponsorship money really make sure we are able to put on such a wonderful event that gives children a weekend of fantastic football, whilst giving the amazing children and families that access Claire house vital funds that’s needed . They’re a very special team and we are truly grateful for their support in enabling us to give Elliot a great legacy!’
Commenting on the partnership, David Curtis, Director at B&M Waste, said: “We are thrilled to be sponsoring the Claire House Cup for a fourth year. Claire House such a deserving charity and B&M Waste are extremely proud to support them in whatever way possible. The football tournament is a great family fun-day and way to remember the life of Elliot Wild.”
Speaking about the sponsorship, Jessica Campbell, Partnerships Manager at Claire House, said; “We were over the moon to hear that B&M Waste Services have chosen to sponsor the Claire House Cup for the fourth year running! The team at B&M Waste are long-term supporters of Claire House Children’s Hospice and have always shared our ambition to reach every seriously ill child and their family who needs hospice care and support.”
