*Calculate Your ShreddingFamily-run waste management company, B&M Waste Services has pledged its support for Crisis, the national charity for homeless people. Crisis help people directly out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.
Supporting the charity, B&M Waste hope to further raise awareness of the dangers of sleeping in bins amongst those who find themselves without shelter
Many of the B&M Waste team will be offering their time as volunteers to assist with the charity’s efforts to support people out of homelessness.
Most notably perhaps, the waste management company have donated £10,000 to allow Crisis to continue with the good work they do.
Equally, the company will soon be raising awareness of Crisis and the excellent work they do through the introduction of promotion of the charity on the side of their waste collection vehicles, which travel across the whole of the UK, offering maximum exposure.
David Curtis, Director of B&M Waste Services said: “We hope to make a positive impact on Crisis’ efforts in supporting those who are homeless, as well as their campaigning for changes which will help solve this problem once and for all. It’s an incredible charity and we’re proud to help however we can.”
Rebecca Pritchard, Director of Services at Crisis, said: “On behalf of everyone at Crisis, I’d like to thank B&M Waste for their incredibly generous donation, which will help us to continue providing life-changing services for homeless people across the UK. We are also looking forward to working with B&M staff as together we work towards ending homelessness in this country once and for all.”
With all that is going on in the world at the moment, waste management continues to be an essential utility and we are doing all that we can to continue to operate as normal.
We can remotely organise audits, paperwork and health and safety documentation without the need for physical contact so that a safe and compliant service can commence imminently.
