Crisis work directly with thousands of homeless people every year, providing vital support to help rebuild the lives of those on the streets. Offering advice and courses for those on the streets of England, Scotland and Wales, the charity are committed to ensuring every homeless person has the support and opportunities that they need to fulfil their potential.
Supporting Crisis as their national charity, B&M Waste Services staff take on challenges and trails throughout the year, in the aid of raising money for Crisis. B&M team members recently took part in the Crisis end of term celebration of success event, recognising those who have made their way through the Crisis programme.
Speaking of the donation, Jayne Kennedy of B&M Waste, said: “Our annual donation to Crisis is made with the aim to support the charity in their campaign to end homelessness in England, Scotland and Wales for good. We are proud to help in whatever way we can, be that volunteering, fundraising or awareness raising of our Refuse not Refuge campaign, aimed at reducing the numbers of people sleeping in bins, which can be a life ending decision. We look forward to the next year of fundraising!”
Director of Merseyside Skylight, Steve Harding, commented: ‘On behalf of everyone of Crisis I’d like to thank B&M Waste for their generous donation and continuing partnership with us. We were very happy to welcome B&M Waste employees to our Celebration of Success event earlier this month and look forward to further collaboration this year in Merseyside. This partnership helps us to continue providing life-changing services for homeless people both locally and across the UK.’
