Preventative maintenance ensures that the fleet is kept in pristine operational condition.
To supplement the manufacturer’s maintenance we have a large on site workshop facility at Bromborough, and a satellite workshop in Manchester. From these sites we run fully equipped breakdown / emergency response vehicles.
Ministry of Transport Testing
All our vehicles are on a 6 weekly safety inspection program on approved safety inspection sheet. The inspection is carried out by a competent and qualified technician.
These records must be held for auditing purposes by (VOSA). Every 12 months the vehicle is presented to a VOSA testing station where a full safety inspection is carried out. On completion of the test a certificate is raised for the vehicle. |

Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER)
The LOLER regulations are the guide for safe practice of lifting equipment in the work place. This is particularly applicable to the crane mounted vehicles, tail lifts, FEL’s REL’s and Ro Ro’s. This runs hand in hand with our Health and Safety practices within the company. These regulations are enforced by the HSE.
It ensures that:
Strong and stable enough for the particular use and marked to indicate safe working loads
Positioning and installed to minimise any risk
Used safely, i.e. the work is planned, organised and performed by competent people.
Subject to on going thorough examination and, where appropriate, inspection by competent people.
As a company we have looked at our operation and have our equipment tested by independent engineer every 6 months on a rolling maintenance plan. |
