Bagnall & Morris Waste Services Ltd have ordered a new JZ 140 ZTS tracked JCB for our new materials recycling facility on the Wirral.
The 14 tonne machine comes with a rotating grab that is ideal for removing larger items from the waste stream prior to loading the new sorting system that will shortly be installed at the site. This piece of plant is ideally suited for our recovery operations as it has the capabilities to handle large quantities of waste coupled with the ability to select and remove |

individual items from the loads. The JCB also has zero tail swing to aid its manoeuvrability within tight spaces and a reverse cooling fan which prevents it fouling easily within dusty environments. All these attributes were considered for its suitability, and ultimately its selection, for our improved recovery facility.
The addition of the JCB to our recycling facility compliments our current Bobcat machines which in themselves have played a vital role over the last 5 years. The original machine purchased in 2002 |

excelled in its role as a capable, versatile and reliable waste handling tool. The practicality of the Bobcat led to the purchase of a second machine in 2006 to deal with the increased throughput of the materials recovery facility. The ability to change attachments meant that its role could alternate from waste handling machine to yard sweeper should it be required. It is this versatility that ensures that these two machines will play an indispensable role for the foreseeable future at our site. |
