B&M Waste Services Ltd are very proud to announce that we have triumphed over strong competition to win the prestigious SME ‘Wirral Environmental Business of the Year’ award for 2008.


The award, which was presented at a gala dinner at Birkenhead School on Friday 6th June, builds on our successes in the same event in 2003 and again in 2005, and was granted in recognition of our continued environmental achievements. The judges were ‘looking for what companies do to limit the environmental impact of their business and actions to improve the local environment’.	We see the award as acknowledgment of our commitment to both minimizing release into landfill of waste collected from customers, and to ensure as far as possible, that the maximum quantity of waste collected is segregated into recyclable materials for reprocessing. This is achieved through a substantial capital investment in new equipment and though the policies and procedures laid	down by our ISO14001 environmental accreditation. We believe within the resources available, Bagnall & Morris has made more than an expected contribution to securing a long-term sustainable future for the environment on Merseyside, and for that reason we are proud to be a category winner of the Wirral Environmental Business of the Year.
